Born August 22, 2005, in the Bronx to Edinson Gavilanes and Fernanda Navarro, she was a seventh-grade student at the Bronx Studio for Writers and Artists.
Bella loved unicorns, she loved to draw, was very artistic, loved watching wrestling and YouTube, and listening to Taylor Swift, according to her obituary, which said she "will always be remembered for her smile."
She is survived by her parents, siblings Linda, Paola, Darlene, Gennisis and Kiara; maternal grandparents, Hector Navarro and Amalia Pena; paternal grandparents Manuel Gavilanes and Piedad Zuniga, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 29 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pelham Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held Thursday, May 30.
